What is this course about?

This course is aimed at students that have taken Computer Programming I and has shown an interest in pursuing or exploring a career in programming or software development. This course is a prep course for AP Computer Science and the student is expected after completing this course to enroll. This course will cover the basics of Java programming, with topics that include: output, input, variables, methods, classes, file input, basic Swing class.
Learning Objective: 
Student will learn about the basics of Game Maker. They will use their previous knowledge to create a game.
Language Objective: 
Students will be able follow instructions to create a game and be able to explain that process in writing.
