Teacher Resources
Weebly.com - My website builder [FREE or yearly fee]
I use this to create my website to facilitate the propagation of information to the student and also to collect files, documents and responses from my students. Very easy drag and drop website building. The free version has almost everything you need except video uploading. There is an educator license for under $50 a year.
clipconverter.cc - Download YouTube videos [FREE]
This is a good online converter to download and share videos with students. I use this for tutorial videos that kids can watch at their own pace. You can select the quality of the video before downloading.
camstudio.org - Record your desktop and save as a video [FREE]
This program records everything you do on the desktop [will also record audio]. I use this to record my lectures for students that where absent or might need a review of what I taught. The only issue with this software is you can't install it without admin rights. So you can put in a work order or download the portable version of the app and install it on a flash drive.
splitpdf.com - Cuts up PDFs in smaller sections [FREE]
I use this software to cut up some of my PDF textbooks in chapters so the student doesn't have to scroll through 100 pages to get to the part they need.
htmlpdf.com - Convert webpages to PDFs [FREE]
Great site if you want to convert an informational webpage into a handout. I've used this to get some of my Photoshop tutorials I give to students.
pdfmerge.com - Join several PDFs into 1 [FREE]
pdfprotect.net - Adds a password to your PDF files [FREE]
pdfunlock.com - Removes passwords on PDF files [FREE]
